Junior Summer Meeting - Sunday 8th August
The Junior Summer Meeting will take place on Sunday 8th August with three trophies on offer
Girls - Robertson Durham Salver - No 3 12noon - Nicky has already e-mailed the girls
Boys - Captains' Trophy - No2 - 12 noon - this new trophy kindly presented by GGC past Captains will be run on a hanmdicap stableford basis. Maximum handicap is 28 ( although some of the younger boys with lower handicaps may prefer to play in the Holiday Trophy )
Boys - Holiday Trophy - No3 - 12 noon - this new trophy will also be run on a handicap stableford basis and is for our younger members and higher handficappers. Anyone playing for handicap may also play
6 hole option - if any younger member ( girl or boy ) would like to play 6 holes please let me know.
Longest Drive and Nearest Pin Competitions - will also be held on each course - donations for prizes welcome !
Everyone ( players and families ) is invited to use the Members Clubhouse after the golf. Refereshments for kids and adults will be available in the front bar - please remember two easy rules - no golf shoes and no jeans !! Food comprising a Sunday carvery at a cost of £9.95 for adults and £5.95 for kids will be available upstairs from 4.30 pm - please email Steven Marshall directly on clubhousemanager@gullanegolfclub.com if you would like food so that he can have an idea of numbers - with heading "Junior Summer Meeting - 8th August - Food "
There will be a Presentation of the three Trophies and other prizes at approximately 6pm and everyone is invited to stay or return for this
Convenors' Challenge - no NRs from anyone in the Summer Meeting !!
We have capacity for over 50 Junior Golfers in these competitions - lets make full use of it and have a great day ! Please ring the Starter No2 / No3 on 843766 to confirm your attendance and to specify which course.
