East Lothian Fun Comps - Message from Kate Green

Hello! 

A huge well done to all players that competed this morning in the Foursomes at Musselburgh Old Course.

You all did extremely well what were pretty extreme summer conditions …..  of course very wet and windy!

Good old Musselburgh Old was still playable … just … and on top of the usual course challenges it also tested waterproofs, brollies, hats and gloves!

Great practice for you all as future Scottish Golfers!

1^st Euan MacIver (NB) and Ben Muncaster (NB)  Net 29

2^nd Ewan McSporran (Hadd) and Kieran Armsrtong (Hadd) Net 32

3^rd  Cameron MacIver (NB) and Murdo Lunn (NB) Net 33.75

4^th  Fergus Syme (Hadd) and Euan Naysmith (Hadd)  Net 34 (beating Ruth Kowbel on count back)

The competition was run as a combined Silver and Handicap event due to some teams being mixed.

Points for the order of merit however have been awarded as 2 separate categories maximising points awarded!
