Junior Championships Update
In the u14 semis today Oliver Ladbrooke played very well to overcome Finn Donaldson with some fine golf ( approximately 5 over par ! ) with Gary Brownlee easing past his much younger opponent Scott Young who is still in P7 at Law Primary. Great experience for them all, win or lose. Olly and Gary now battle it out at 2.20 pm tomorrow over the tougher test on No 1 - as we know a fine test of championship golf.
In the Junior Championship Graham Swan played very well indeed to defeat last year's runner-up and solid match player Michael Williams and now faces Junior Captain Peter Legget in the first semi. Patient Greg Houlston eased passed the tardy cricketer ( and hard revising ) Tom Grey and now faces Duncan McLean who squeezed through two and one against Jamie Black. Semis at 8.50am and 9.00am
Good luck to them all
