A lovely sunny day in Gullane with a modest breeze produced three fine Junior Championship winners following their finals on Gullane No 1. In the Girls final 15 yo Lesley Atkins triumphed over Sarah Dunlop, Oliver Ladbrooke produced some excellent putting and fine golf to win the U14 Championship for the Jimmy Hume Trophy against Gary Brownlee on the last green and Greg Houlston's victory was never in doubt in the Boys Final against Peter Legget.

Congratulations also due to another junior Alasdair Simpson who was runner up in the Doctors Trophy and recent Junior Duncan Melville who lost the GGC Championship to a birdie on the 37th hole after a hard fought battle with experienced man and previous winner Duncan Low.
