The format is foursomes stableford with each Junior paired with a Senior - playing for The Webster Trophy. Pairings above.
Finn Donaldson was the junior winner last year.
Please be smart wearing Gullane kit if you have it , a pair of shoes for the Clubhouse - and be on good behaviour !! The SGU are coming to check out Gullane Junior Golf on Monday am !!

Haddington maintain their unbeaten record after 5 matches with their win over Champions Gullane ;-( and now threaten leaders Craigielaw. Teams in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places can all overhaul Craigielaw if they win their games in hand. Haddington vs Craigielaw on the 25th July looks like being a key match! There are no more league fixtures till the 18th July - the last day of The Open Championship.

What the boys are up to - Championship Summer !
I know you are all looking forward to the Scottish Amateur at Gullane from 26 - 31 July and I am sure you are pleased that there will be a good Gullane representation. Depending on where the cut is one Gullane junior member may be in the field ie Fraser Thain h/c 1.3 ( representing West Linton ) . Mark Dickson a Junior from a couple of years ago will also be playing. - his home club is Gullane.

What are the girls up to ?
Midlothian, Stirling and Clackmannan first-day winners
at East Division team championship
Midlothian made a winning start to the defence of the East Division women's inter-county team championship at Royal Musselburgh Golf Club today (Monday) but it was a close-run thing against Fife.
Midlothian, winners by a 5-4 margin, were grateful in the end for the one-point lead they established in the morning foursomes because it proved decisive at the after the singles were shared 3-3.
The experienced Karen Marshall and improving teenager Rachael Watton, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, won twice for Midlothian.
Fife's two former Scottish champions, Elaine Moffat and Fiona (Lockhart) Hastie), both won in the singles.
The other match was also a tight encounter with Stirling and Clackmannan edging a 5-4 victory over East Lothian.
Stirling and Clackmannan gained that vital one-point foursomes lead and could afford to settle for a 3-3 share of the singles.
East Lothian county champion Emma Fairnie finished the day with a 100 per cent success record ( in one of her final amateur events ) through a lead-off foursomes partnership with Fiona Priot and a 6 and 5 win in the top singles tie against Louise MacGregor, the Stirling and Clackmannan county champion

Thanks for your best wishes for the rest of our games ---You should be proud of your young lady and gentlemen, their approach to the match whether they won or lost a hole was excellent. It's a pity this is not always the case
