Junior Summer Meeting - Sunday 8th August "Foxes Cave"

We held a very successful Junior Summer Meeting on Sunday !! 35 golfers turned out including 8 girls.

The girls played on No3 for the Robertson Durham Salver which was won by Rachael McAnany , with last year's winner Lara Frostwick in second, and Charlotte Munro aqnd Katherine Bryce sharing third. Congratulations too to Catherine Small and Anna Fox who also played - Anna suffering a traumatic 16th and 17th !! Well done too to Rosie O'Riordan and Annabel McLean who played a cart assisted 9 holes !!

The boys on No 3 were playing for the newly donated Holiday Cup and on No 2 the older boys were played for the soon to be donated Captains' Trophy

James Fox played a tremendous round on No 3 scoring 48 stableford points , followed by Eddie Blundell on 44 and then Graeme Chalmers and Freddie Neden on 38 and 37 respectively

Well done all but particularly James !

On No 2 there was exceptionally fine play - see points scores below - with the Captains' Trophy being captured by Edward Cave with 43 points followed by Alasdair Neden and Graham Swan with 41 points. Mention should be made of other fine scores by Michael Williams 73 and Peter Legget 72
