Gullane's 'Irish' member, Alexander Wilson, playing out of Portmarnock finished a highly creditable 14th equal in last week's Irish Boys Amateur Close Championship at Ardee with rounds of 79, 70, 76 & 70, when CSS in each round was 71.
Possibly a unique feat - making the cut in each of the Scottish, English and Irish Boys Championships in the same season!
He's now relaxing in Spain prior to Loretto term starting in Sept
