The Scottish Boys Under 16s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship was first played in 1984 at Crow Wood in Glasgow and has grown from an 18-hole event into a popular 54-hole championship contested by many of the UK's leading junior golfers. Previous winners include European Tour player Peter Whiteford, Challenge Tour regular Raymond Russell and former Walker Cup star David Inglis. It shall comprise 54 holes of stroke play over three days. 18 holes shall be played on each of the first two days. The 40 competitors returning the lowest scores over the first 36 holes and those tying for 40th place shall play a final 18 holes. |
Entry Details: Entrants must be under the age of 16 years on 00.01 hours on 1 January 2010 The starting field shall be 120 and in the event of an over-entry the number shall be reduced in order of exact handicap.
