McLean posts a score !!

After months of frustration on the golf course involving the chilling inevitability of a 0.1 handicap rise every time I tee'd off in medal play and the whole gamut of golfing ineptitude ranging from missed 3ft putts, chronic decision making, a few shanks, fluffed and double hit chips to hooks, slices, pulls, sclaffs and chunks - all as a result of too much time and focus on Gullane Juniors - it finally clicked into place for McLean yesterday on windy No 1 with gross 74 nett 66  (CSS 73 ) to lead the Autumn Meeting after Day 1. How good is that ? It'll certainly bring me back next season - there's hope for everyone !

Good luck to both Junior teams playing today - final league match of season away to Royal Musselburgh and to our stars of the future playing an u14 match v Tantallon on No3.
