EAST LOTHIAN FUN COMPETITIONS 2010 ORDER OF MERIT

Over the 2010 season Juniors from across East Lothian and beyond have been clocking up points for playing in East Lothian Fun Competitions.  The players had the opportunity to play in 9 competitions hosted by 9 East Lothian clubs and competed in 2 divisions:  Handicap/S1+ and Silver Non Handicap/P7 and below.     The results are now in …   

                                                                                                                                                                                                Congratulations to William Ladbrooke of Gullane Golf Club for winning the Handicap Division.  William has only just gone into Primary 6 so this is a fantastic achievement with him beating many secondary aged players including his older brother!      

                                                                                                                                              Congratulations also to Jack Buchanan of Castlepark Golf Club for winning the Silver Division.  Jack has only just gone into Primary 4 so again another fantastic acheivement by two rising stars.  

The top 6 Order of Merit players from each of the divisions have qualified for a special prize winners day out …. details to follow.

Thanks to all the clubs for hosting these fun comps and giving the players the opportunity to play on a variety of excellent local courses.

Thanks also to all the volunteers that supported the running of these events on the day.  Without this support we couldn’t offer these opportunities so it is really appreciated - especially by the children.
