Dear clubgolfer,A big thank you to all the children who took part in our final event of the year on Sunday at North Berwick's children's course. The quality of golf was exceptional and everyone had a great time, so keep up the good work.
Also, thank you to Gullane GC for supporting clubgolf and for the use of their superb practice facilities, and the use of the main clubhouse on Sunday for our end of season presentation.
Another big thanks goes to all the volunteer clubgolf coaches who have worked very hard this year to make the sessions fun and teach you all about golf, and to Kate Green junior golf development manager and Laura Rushby clubgolf regional manager for their mentoring and advice.
Event winners on Sunday were:
Best Score with a 37 Rob MacAnany, with 3 others carding a very good 38: Kirsten Walker, Rohan Liddell And Gregor Griffiths.
Longest drive prize went to Gregor Griffiths who managed to nail it on the green too within 3 feet of the pin on the 125 yard 8th.
The practice nets have been packed away, all the golf balls have been put on the shelf, along with the spare clubs for the winter,
But don't worry!
Clubgolf will be back next spring
