GIRLS IN GOLF - GULLANE TO THE FORE !

Girls in Golf Team Scramble:  Monday the 19^thOctober 2009

32 girls from across East Lothian and Edinburgh got the chance to meet Catriona Matthew - the 2009 Women's British Open Champion – at this week’s Girls in Golf event.   Catriona very kindly gave the girls her time - answering lots of questions, signing lots of autographs and joining the girls for photos.

 It looked first thing like the weather was going to get the better of us but thankfully it dried up just on time.  All the girls enjoyed the event - the last of the season for the girls.  I hope meeting Catriona will encourage all the girls to come back next season and until then keep practicing.

Thanks to North Berwick Golf club for use of their fantastic children’s course.  Thanks also to all the coaches and parents that helped on the day – really appreciated as always.  Results can be found below:
