clubgolf - Gullane boys to the fore too !

Boys Team Scramble: Tuesday 20th October 2009 

The second of the October holiday competitions was held at North Berwick’s children’s course on Tuesday and this time if was the turn of the boys. 27 boys representing 7 East Lothian clubs formed 9 teams of 3. Teams were captained by a boy with a handicap or in S1+ and were made up of a mixture of clubs so that the boys could meet other golfers from other clubs. Each team had to use 3 drives from each of their members, which added some extra decision making into the works! Despite the cold and windy conditions the boys returned impressive scores - well done all. Thanks again to North Berwick Golf Club for use of their children’s course and also to all the coaches and parents that helped assist on the day. Results are below:
