OBAN BOY WINS WEATHER-HIT SGU JUNIOR NO 2 EVENT

Oban's Bob MacIntyre (Glencruitten) won the weather-hit SGU Junior Tour No 2 event at Rowallan Castle, Ayrshire today. The event was reduced to 36 holes, one on Saturday and the other today after flooding of the course on Saturday washed out the second round.

The course did not dry out quickly enough for more than 18 holes to be played today.
MacIntyre had a pair of 73s for four-over-par 146, on a weekend when the CSS was 75 and 74.
