East Lothian v Edinburgh

On what was a bright but breezy day at Kilspindie, honours finished even in the 3rd East Lothian/Edinburgh boys match. There were some cracking games with 5 of the 10 matches going down the last and some fantastic golf played given the conditions were quite tough. Both myself and Iain Holt would like to thank the boys from their respective teams. Although the matches were played in a fiercely competitive manner the camaraderie and respect for the game was on display for everybody to see and they were all a credit to their respective clubs and most importantly themselves. We would also like to thank Kilspindie GC for the courtesy of the course and the excellent bar/catering staff for looking after us all when the battle had ceased. Next year the return match will hopefully be at Broomieknowe GC and we look forward to another good game.
