EAST LOTHIAN GIRLS WIN CUTHBERTSON CUP AFTER 18 YEARS

East Lothian girls team today won the Cuthbertson Cup East Division junior team championship at Tulliallan Golf Club for the first time in 18 years.

Their winning team comprised Scottish girls champion Lesley Atkins (Gullane Ladies), Rosie Everett, Keren Ward and Clara Young (North Berwick)
East Lothian won their morning semi-final against Fife on a holes-won countback after the match finished at 2-2.

The other semi-final saw Midlothian beat Stirling and Clackmannan 3 1/2-1/2.
In the final East Lothian beat Midlothian 3-1.
