Job Vacancy: ClubGolf Regional Manager East of Scotland

A dynamic, motivated and independent development professional is now sought for a challenging role within ClubGolf. 
You will be employed by ClubGolf (Scotland) Ltd and lead the roll out of ClubGolf within a designated geographical area, incorporating the local authority areas of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and Scottish Borders.
Working from the offices of Scottish Golf Union, sportscotland, Caledonia House, Edinburgh, you will play an integral part in this dynamic team. 
You will be responsible for working with local authorities and schools to deliver ClubGolf’s introductory game, and with golf clubs and PGA professionals to develop the infrastructure that will deliver the ClubGolf programme itself.
As part of a team of ClubGolf Regional Managers located around Scotland, you will also be required to work with remotely-based colleagues to develop the ClubGolf programme nationally.
Key skills will include the ability to motivate and enthuse volunteers and professionals who are delivering ClubGolf, to manage effective relationships with a variety of partners, the discipline to develop comprehensive plans and work to tight deadlines and the ability to be an effective team player whilst sometimes working remotely and on your own initiative.
You will have knowledge and experience of working within a sports development environment, as well as an understanding of Scottish sport, particularly golf. 
You will demonstrate a practical understanding of delivering a project successfully and you will have experience of working interdependently with people and in partnerships.
Salary will be from £25,000 with the successful candidate being placed at a salary point commensurate with experience and current salary.
