Royal Mid-Surrey Match - Monday 19th July

This takes place on Monday 19th July - 2pm tee off on No 1 followed by a meal in the Member's Clubhouse. A great opportunity to meet and socialise with the RMS boys from London who are on their bi-annual Scottish tour en route to St Andrews and who look an interesting and cosmopolitan bunch. They are thrilled to be playing Gullane No 1 when it will be in great nick in advance of the Scottish Amateur

They are aged 15 -18,  handicaps from 3 to 23 They arrive late morning and are visiting Archie's museum and having a light lunch and using our excellent practice facilities We should be available from 1pm or earlier if you wish to meet them and have a chat / snack lunch ( your cost )

I am absolutley amazed at what the Juniors of Gullane have going for them. The set up is truely amazing, the network and communication I suspect has no equal anywhere in the junior golfing world. As Mid Surrey Juniors, we are ceraintainly very impressed and are very much looking forward to visiting Gullane in July and seeing at first hand the quality of your junior section... Given the strength of team that Gullane can now put out, I hope we can make a match of it...!

I wish you the very best of luck when the selection panel finally decide upon the Junior Section of the Year. Your leadership, your innovation and the very fine example you set reaches far beyond your own club and your own country. Good Luck!

I have just seen the appalling spelling in my first comment… so it’s back to school for remedial English lessons for this particular Junior Organiser! 
