Every year the Direleton Castle Ladies kindly run the Peel Cup competition on No 3 with financial support from Gullane Ladies GC
The event is on Tuesday 3rd August. It is open to boys and girls. It is an age group scratch strokeplay competition ( so no handicap is required ). Entries close on Saturday 31 July and times will be posted at the Starter's Box on Sunday 1st August
It is open to 8-16 year olds
8-12 year olds play 8 holes on No 3 (1,2,3,4,15,16,17,18) (from red markers)
13-16 year olds play the full round on No 3 (from yellow markers)
Entry fees - juniors 50p and seniors £1
There is a Junior Cup and a Senior Cup plus several prizes for each age group and "fun" prizes for the juniors
The entry sheet is with the No2/3 starter - please add your name to enter. You do not have to be a member of Gullane GC or Gullane Ladies GC to enter so all clubgolfers and anyone else interested in having a go whether from Gullane or further afield will be welcomed .
BE GREAT TO HAVE A BIG ENTRY FOR THIS PRESTIGIOUS AND LONG RUNNING LOCAL EVENT !!
Current holders are Oliver Ladbrooke and Peter Legget - both fine golfers indeed !
