VAN HORN CUP

Full day of breakfast, team room pep talks, Ryder Cup style team presentations and practice ground warm up followed by the big match between Europe and the International side - 4 ball better ball with 13 girl and boy age group pairings.

5 hours or so later a convincing victory to Europe, match details to follow, then closing ceremony, flag handover and quaiches of Irn Bru ( made in Scotland fae girders  http://www.irn-bru.co.uk/bruzil/home.html ) 

Gullane GC / Gullane Ladies Golf Club did us proud, each presenting two12 month junior memberships to 4 of the best scoring players of the week 

Frank Olav Garber from Kirkland, Washington ( nr Seattle in Oregon ) who won the 14 yo boys shooting 69, 75 , 72 on No 2 for 216 total , retaining his crown on the 20th after a playoff and now appearing in three Van Horn Cups.

Dominic Phillipe Foos from Karlsruhe in Germany who shot 71, 67, 71 for 209 in the 12 year old competition on Craigielaw.

Eloise Healey  from Liverpool in the north west of England who shot 70, 72 and 75 on No 3 for a 217 total in the Girls 12 category - a well known Wee Wonders competitor.
