Most of you ,if not all, will know that Longniddry beat Craigielaw today 3 1/2 to 1 1/2. My calculations of the up to date league positions are as noted below.

What a fantastic result today, well done to everyone, it made the car journey back to Gullane very enjoyable. So a win, a draw or a 4-1 defeat if Longniddry win 5 - 0 next weekend away at Kilspindie would make GGC champions, the first time since 1980-81. I don`t want to count my chickens before they hatch but I know what result I am hoping for.

Good win on Sat for Greg and Michael v Tantallon 3 and 1 with Olly and James Fox also having a run out in a bounce match. We also had a w/o vs Dunbar on Sunday .We sit at the top of the league
