The 2010 County Cup was won by Haddington who narrowly defeated Longniddry in the final at Gullane No 1. The Haddington Team comprised Conor Bowles and Murray Lorimer in the 1st match and they were level with Michael Bacigalupo and Marc Owenson whilst in the 2nd match, Owen Martin and Scott McLoughlin were 4 up against Fraser Johnston and Paul Keiller. The Haddington Convenor Jim Simpson had the added pleasure of leading the Team to victory over Longniddry where his son Stevie is the Junior Convenor. The weather made the superb Gullane courses an even stiffer test than usual but the golf was of a good standard. Great to see both Haddington and Longniddry doing well. Thanks to Dave Warren - the time and expertise he puts into East Lothian Junior League events is fantastic ! |
